Lost At Work is a cross-platform Progressive Web App created with Angular and Ionic that uses a Node.js back-end API. It's an app that tries to help employees dealing with misconduct at work by letting them document their experiences and chat with real misconduct experts. During freelancing I had interesting conversations with Ed van Dijken (an organizational psychologist) about innovation within the Human Resources branche. Ed is convinced that there is a serious problem within the HR sector when it comes to dealing with misconduct behaviour at companies. So I decided to help him create a concept & prototype that could solve these problems. I created a Progressive Web App (PWA) using Angular + Ionic. This means that it's a cross-platform web app which can run on all devices (Desktop, iOS & Android) that support web browsers. I also created a Node.js API back-end which allows clients to communicate with a cloud Mongo Database. It implements JSWT Authentication and HTTPS. The clients are served through Google Firebase. By using Ionic the app could also be exported as native iOS or Android app, while keeping the same codebase.
