Retail stores and nightlife clubs needed an easy-to-use control panel to access the Recnition Security System. Security guards had to be notified as quickly as possible when the face recognition system detected an unwanted person. And authorized staff would need to be able to create, remove and see restrictions of banned shoplifters and troublemakers. This app has evolved over time, as we prototyped multiple iterations with real target groups. Together with Recnition, I have designed and developed the mobile and desktop app using Ionic / React as a hybrid app framework. When creating the Recnition App we've used Rapid Prototyping and Agile Development to iteratively create an app and experience that reflects the needs of the end-user.
